The Potter's House Visit

 THE POTTER'S HOUSE

 
The Potter's House is operated by The Atlanta Union Mission on a campus located off Highway 129 just south of Jefferson, Georgia.  Their recovery program is Christian based and highly successful for men struggling with alcohol and/or other chemical  addictions and has saved lives.  For over 24 years WFUMC has reached out to  these men in Christian love.  Every August we go to their Campus on a Sunday afternoon and evening, hosting a softball game, cooking up more than  200 hamburgers, providing other goodies for a picnic meal, and enjoying a worship service together.
 
It's an awesome experience and you will feel the Spirit of God during your visit as you listen to the singing, preaching and personal witnessing of some of the clients that have been saved through this program.
