Vincent Tong

Vincent Tong is the pianist, organist, and choir accompanist at Watkinsville First United Methodist. He is also currently pursuing a doctoral degree in piano performance at UGA studying with Dr. Evgeny Rivkin, while also minoring in music theory and piano pedagogy. Originally a New York native, he pursued an undergraduate degree in Comparative Literature at Queens College and did a short stint working in Christian publishing before resuming his music studies for his post-bac at Hunter College, and his Master’s at Purchase College where he met his wife. He is newly married to Rami and has recently become a first-time father to two twin girls. Aside from music, Vincent also enjoys cooking new dishes, reading, playing the board game Go, and drinking tea.
