Pollinator Garden

Our Watkinsville First United Methodist Church pollinator garden, just behind the Fellowship Hall, is showing its
first spring blooms of 2024.

We recently received certification for our little garden from the State Botanical Garden of Georgia as part of their Connect to Protect Program: “Supporting pollinators in small spaces, one planting at a time.”

We thank God for this glorious garden and all the benefits it provides. Bees, butterflies, beetles,
and other insects are essential for pollinating many of the fruits and vegetables we eat.
